Trouble getting started? How about a little help...

Headline

Grab the attention of other members with a great headline! Think twice about using "Searching for a soul-mate", while it may be what you are looking for, so is everyone else. Aim for something original and creative. Try using a pop-culture phrase like, "If Britney could cook". Or try a descriptive adjective that describes your personality such as "Galloping Gourmet Seeks Tasty Tid-Bit"

Essay

As a general guideline, try to write at least 100 words about yourself and another 100 about who you're looking for in two separate paragraphs. Don't write all about yourself and nothing about them.

When starting your essay, avoid cliches like "Hi I'm not sure what to do here." It's very important that you think of a great opening line to attract interest.  When describing yourself, don't stop at "I'm funny." Try something more descriptive such as "I'll make you laugh like Chris Rock."

Use these phrases throughout your profile so that you stand out but remember to still be yourself.  Finally, don't forget to check your Headline and Essay for spelling and correct grammar.
